Ice Storm '98


January 1998
brought a weeklong ice storm 
but the last two days brought 3 inches of ice
that covered everything.

Here are few of the  pictures I took 
that reflect the beauty, 
that tragedy can bring.
In Capital Park this ice covered fir, 
behind the park bench I was photographing, 
just begged to be photographed 
when the sun seamingly becme a 
"Christmas Star"!
