Camariñas - located in a fishing
village
called
Camariñas,in
the northwestern region
of Spain called Galicia. This place is the center
of a quite active lacemaking area and you can
find quite some shops in the village, more for
lace made than for lace tools. Once a year,
around Easter, a lace event is held, lasting
4 or 5 days, where you can find not only
local lace, but foreign lace shops and shows.
Besides, the surroundings are lovely, as the
village placed in a wild piece of coast called
"Coast of Death", because of the many shipwrecks |
