Descrip: A collection of over 35 decorated braids and 24 patterns (12 traditional
and 12 modern) all white. The braids section provides excellent diagrams
as well as a verbal description of each. The patterns section gives a pricking
a list of braids used and their order and a photo of the finished lace.
There are also a couple of chapters on technique and one on designing one's
own patterns. Not for a total beginner but not far off.

Descrip: 5 patterns: 4 in color 1 white. Utilizes color possibilities inherent
in braids themselves without adding or removing pairs. A section on specific
techniques used is included. Good pictures but has to be used in
conjunction with the two Kincaid/Reed books since while the braids to be
used are indicated -- all from those -- no diagrams for them are provided.

all modern all frame-able motifs -- no mats or collars. All done in colour
utilising the possibilities inherent within each braid and augmented by
addition and removal of differently coloured pairs and/or single threads.
Meticulous documentation both verbal and pictorial provides almost movement-by-movement
directions. Diagrams for the braids used are provided.
